Hi all, this is my second try at posting. LOL I am fairly new to this game and to your guild. You can blame M T W for me being here.. LOL
I have a ranger/ elemental combo (any build recommendations taken)

welcome to the crazy home I have some ranger builds but not for a ranger ellie

well here are some.

R/E spike fire. Basically you use a fire bow and use fire arrow attacks. You can go aoe (area of effect) or single spike it out. In case you may not know, Spike is high dmg in a short time.

R/E slow trappers. set down traps and lure your enemies in. Then use a slow spell such as ice spikes, and make them slow down.

fire! LOL I was using ice. but "read the wind", "penetrating attack", "power shot", and "hunters shot" as spells. Then "Charm animal", Feral Lunge, and "otyugh's Cry" on my pet cat. Somehow made my way to Gadd's Encampment, and even when I use my three heros and 5 henchmen, I can't seem to get past the riptors just ouside the portal. What is wierd, is they were not there to stop me when I came...

Next time ur on look for me ill help ya kill em

have your mage heroes use eruption, and ward against melee.

then you will see a big diff

Well, I looked up the quest on line, and discovered they recommend using the white mantle for this area. I have only been playing about a month. LOL Guess I willl go back to some of the older areas. Hopefully it will be a little easier now that I have reached level 20.
