Guild event: Find Waldo

Remeber those days in school when finding waldo was the highlight of your day?

Well its time to bring that back!

I will host the event "Find Waldo" 1-2 times every 2 weeks. I will announce when at the beginning of the week...and most of the time, I will try to make it work on fridays.

In this event, players will attempt to find myself in the world of GW. Yeh its a big world...but the prizes will be worth it.

Here are some main rules:
1. I will only stay in dist 1 american.
2. Depending on who is on, I will stay in either factions, nf, or proph. (towns, outpost, cities only)
3. I will give 1 clue to where i am hiding.
4. If you find me, open up a trade with me in order to claim your prize.
5. Prizes will only be given to the first player to trade me.

5k prizes will be handed out along with 1 or 2 golds and a random rune picked from my stockpile.


Hints: One hint would be something like (I am sitting in the ruins of Mhenlo's old abode.) Meaning im sitting in the ruins of ashford abbey.

Dude I love the idea. I would like to get everyone's input for what day will work out best for it..
Also what if we have everyone pay like 100gp or something like that to enter so we can also make money for the guild, considering your gonna give 5k as a prize as well. It will help with expenses.

besides...as soon as i get things settled i could start farming smites again.

Waldo edit: If, and when there are more people on we can have it so players will have to find 2-3 officers.

The main clue is posted and it will lead to the first checkpoint officer(who will only give the clue to the people who find him or her).
This officer will then give the next clue and maybe 100g?
The second will then give 100g and the clue to the last and final officer.
The final one will give the prize to the first person to reach them.


Which also reminds me.

We should have more games like this and then give out "points" These points will add up for drawings and or redeemable prizes?

I havent been able to stay on GW since im kinda...tied up. But i will try to stay on for a longer period of time.

what about those of us that only have eye of the north?

i will get creative about that, no worries

if you somehow just have eye of the north...which is impossible...

I can still find ways to make it even.

As soon as i hit a nice big break I will be able to set a few things straight for this event.

I will most likely be waiting till we hit a member quota.
